United Airlines reveals more details about its potential land development near DIA

United Airlines’ plans to build a new flight training facility near Denver International Airport could be accompanied by developing the property for a variety of other uses, according to records recently filed with the city.

Denver International Airport’s largest carrier may build more than 1 million gross square feet of office space on its land east of Peña Boulevard to accommodate over 6,000 employees there, building that include data center space, fitness centers and parking garages for over 5,000 cars, United said in a infrastructure master plan filed with city planners in December.
